We proudly offer the only FHP training course
solely led and taught by registered and regulated
Podiatry Professionals (Health and Care Professions Council – HCPC). The faculty of Tutors have decades of experience between them at all levels of chiropody and podiatry ranging from routine treatments through specialist diabetic and wound care, to surgery. Additionally all our tutors hold relevant teaching qualifications.
The course combines online distance learning with practical assessment.
Throughout your online learning you will be fully supported by the course tutors and administration team including our active Facebook group and bi-weekly student tutor meetings conducted via Zoom. You will be required to complete 8 online multiple choice exams before progressing to the practical.
On completion of all units you will undertake 2 weeks intensive hands-on practical training, on specially selected patients at our live state-of-the-art clinic. This is a minimum training standard required in order to obtain professional membership and insurance with the College of Foot Health, and is the most practical experience offered by any UK FHP training course.
If English isn’t your first language, you will need to hold a minimum GCSE grade C, or equivalent qualification, in English. If you do not hold this grade you are required to sit an English language test or submit proof of sitting an English language test. This is to show that your English language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) are to a suitable level for studying. If this applies to you the following test can be completed https://www.efset.org/ with a required minimum 61% pass.
Alternatively proof of IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or, SELTs (Secure English Language Test) is required.
