With the correct training, Foot Health Practitioners can safely treat the kind of general conditions that are routinely encountered in our ageing population and in those people who need regular care of corns, calluses, dry skin and problem nails for example, as well as basic mechanical problems of the feet.
The Foot Health Practitioner (FHP) course consists of two parts:
Part One – The Theory
Consisting of 8 units via distance learning, with tutor and online assistance where necessary. Each unit has an end assessment. Study at your pace, in your time, in the comfort and safety of your own home!
Part Two – Practical training
Your course fee includes two full weeks of hands-on mentoring by our experienced tutors who are all fully qualified UK registered podiatrists. This is available at our national clinical skills training centre in Southport or via interning with one of our national panel of tutor podiatrists in their own practice, or by a mixture of both methods. Further mentoring with a tutor podiatrist can be arranged, should a delegate wish it, for an additional fee.
The total course fee is £1999
